Instagram Trail Party Bus

Looking for fun things to do this weekend?  Here's a NEW unique experience in Delaware.

Grab up to 13 of your friends and family for a fun day (or half day) exploring Instagram Worthy Spots along Delaware's Trails of DiscoveryBrowse the map to find colorful Instagram locations.  Select a minimum of 4 (and up to 9) designated Instagram Spots to visit.  You can drive yourself or use our private Party Bus service to take you so your party can enjoy adult beverages along the way.  Head out to the artwork that you find exciting! Strike a pose and share your Insta moment with #DelawareDiscoveries. You determine how long you'd like designated driving service to these locations (5 hour minimum). 

Add in stops at one or more local breweries, wineries, meaderies, distilleries, cideries, eateries along the way. We can assist with an itinerary if you are not familiar with the lay of the land based on your pickup / drop-off location. BYOB on our shuttles is allowed but we do encourage you to support the local craft beverage companies. Age 21 is required for alcohol consumption in Delaware.  Show off your Insta-worthy moment by tagging your photo taken with the artwork with #DelawareDiscoveries.

After visiting at least four of the nine locations, submit the photos to Delaware Tourism's website and you'll earn a chance to receive a limited-edition prize. The prize is a DIY paint pour kits designed specifically for the trail by the Developing Artist Collaboration group, Dirty Hands. After being inspired on the trail, this fun and simple at home art kit lets you pour paint to make your own piece of art. And don’t worry – paint pour kits are fast and fun, no skill required.

Our rate for our 11 passenger shuttle is only $95/hr ($99 for the 14 passenger shuttle) and we include:

  • Local Door to Door Transportation in One of Our Comfortable Shuttles
  • Plenty of Instagram Time at Each Spot
  • Photography
  • Water
  • Light Snacks
  • Seat Belts for Everyone
  • A Cool Giftbag for Your Guest of Honor
  • Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic, snacks, and beverages too.
This tour does not include:
  • Tasting fees - you pay for your own tasting fees and food
  • Gratuity for your venue servers - you would pay your own gratuity
  • Reservations at venues, you would make these yourself
  • Entrance fees at parks or other locations.
  • Driver gratuity - customary 20%

Starting times the Instagram Party Bus Tour can be 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or 12 p.m. 7 days a week. Ask about Monday - Thursday discounts! Please note: some venues close at 5pm, 6 pm or 7 pm.

Big Chill Beach Club, Artist: Kelsey Montague, Bethany Beach, DE 

This interactive piece will turn you into a ray of sunshine! The trail's brightest and beachiest piece of artwork lives just off the sands of the Indian River Inlet beach.  Tip: Big Chill is located in the Delaware Seashore State Park. Park admission is required, but allows for you to have park access all day! To capture the perfect sunset, dine on the top deck of the restaurant (check for seasonal hours). If you are lucky you'll also get to see dolphins swimming nearby!

Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal, Artist:  Christian Kanienberg, Lewes, DE

An underwater sea adventure awaits. The artwork is located on the Lewes terminal. The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a 90-minute scenic boat ride across the bay. The terminal has incredible sunset views and delicious dining.  Tip: The Cape May - Lewes Ferry offers free parking, a new coffee shop and waterfront views while dining at Grain on the Rocks.

Mispillion River Brewing, Artist:  Michael Johnson, Milford, DE 

You’ll become part of the hoppy atmosphere with this tap centric artwork. This brewery is a hidden gem and filled with beer-centric flights and a colorful atmosphere. Mispillion River Brewing is dog friendly and family friendly.  Tip: Grab a few brews then head to downtown Milford to explore the Mispillion Riverwalk which inspired the artwork.

Delaware Turf, Artist:  Michael Johnson, Frederica, DE

Upon arriving at this soccer themed piece you will immediately feel a part of the action. DE Turf is a lively area with games happening throughout the year on all corners of the complex. You’ll find the artwork on the side of the main office building and can even see it from the Rt.1 highway!  Tip: Traveling north or south, this Delaware Discoveries interactive street art is easily accessible right off Route 1. Look for the Visit Delaware Field to find the art.

Bombay Hook Wildlife Refuge, Artist:  Kelsey Montague, Smyrna, DE

Follow the road of wide open spaces that leads to Delaware’s very own set of wings. The wings will be your first journey of discovery as Bombay Hook has acres of scenic land and wildlife for you to explore. The artwork is located near the entrance pavilion area (perfect lunch spot). Tip: Pack binoculars and inspect spray for extra explorations! Bombay Hook is a world-renowned birding destination. Entrance fee is $4.00 cash only and good for the whole day! 

Town of Wyoming, Artist:  Natalia Ciriaco, Wyoming, DE

A piece of art that whisks you away to a day on the farm. You'll experience a quaint town filled with hidden gems. Along the historic railroad tracks you’ll find antique stops, fruit filled orchards and some pretty sweet shops. The artwork is located on the side of town hall in WyomingTip: Visit this location in the afternoon to ensure time for antiquing, exploring, ice cream and even some mini-golf.

Wilmington Riverfront Children's Musuem, Artist:  Laura Erickson, Wilmington, DE

Explore the world with this piece of art! The location won’t be hard to find as it is accompanied by the bright and vibrant Children’s Museum building. Let this piece bring out your inner child and have fun along the Riverfront Wilmington!  Tip: There are many spots to dine and enjoy along the riverfront so come hungry. Plus, try the beer garden or mini-golf when in season. In the winter, you can even enjoy outdoor ice skating.

Delaware Art Museum, Artist:  Laura Erickson

You’ll truly have a colorful moment with this location! The Delaware Art Museum is a perfect spot for inspiration and reflection among some of the most creative pieces in Delaware.  Tip: The museum offers free parking where you can walk through the terrace to find the Delaware Discoveries street art.

Hagley Museum, Artist:  Leah Beach, Wilmington, DE

Follow the scenic path on the banks of the Brandywine. Located on the grounds of the historic Hagley Museum and Library, you'll be immersed into life in a garden with this piece of artwork. Hagley is known for it's serene trails and historic programming.  Tip: Check-in and buy your day pass at the gift shop located near the visitor parking lot. To find the Delaware Discoveries artwork, you can walk to the Workers Hill or take a ride on the complimentary shuttle that runs every 30 minutes.

Chase Center on the Riverfront, Artist:  Terrance Vann, Wilmington, DE

The vibrant Riverfront Wilmington just got a little brighter with the addition of the 10th Delaware Discoveries location. Here, at the Chase Center you can celebrate recent historic moments with a handful of Delaware-centric balloons. Let your imagination truly lift off on this one.

Tip: There are many spots to dine and enjoy along the riverfront so come hungry. Plus, try the beer garden or mini-golf when in season.

The popular Delaware Discoveries Trail has added a new interactive piece of artwork at the Delaware Botanic Gardens in Dagsboro. Just in time for Spring, the 11th Discoveries Trail location showcases one of the state’s newest outdoor attractions.
